Terms and conditions of order and delivery




General information


Farmtools Oy, VAT number: FI03675126, address: Leinosentie 16, FI-62375 YLIHÄRMÄ FINLAND; we sell our products to both companies and private individuals of age within the EU region. These delivery terms are applied to purchases of products made through our online store and other similar deliveries. These delivery terms enter into force on January 1, 2021. We may unilaterally amend these delivery terms from time to time, so we ask that you review our delivery terms in advance each time you make a purchase in our online store.



Product and product prices


The features and prices of the products in the online store are presented alongside the description of each product. As we reserve the right to change the prices and delivery costs, you should review said prices in your shopping cart before you submit the order.  The product prices include VAT, which is indicated in the shopping cart and the order confirmation.



Delivery costs


The delivery costs possibly charged for an order depend on the purchased product (for example, weight and packaging) and the chosen method of delivery and are added automatically to the order total. The delivery costs to be charged for your order (where applicable) are presented in the shopping cart before you submit your order.



Purchasing and agreement


You can purchase products from the website of our online store by placing products into the shopping cart and by confirming your order and paying the price of the products placed into the cart using the payment service. When you make purchases in our online store, you are expected to have familiarized yourself with the terms of delivery in force at each time and undertaken to comply with them. You understand that an order approved by you and confirmed by us is, except for what is mentioned below regarding the right of withdrawal, binding and results in the conclusion of an agreement between us together with these terms of delivery.

Order and payment confirmation


After a successful order, you will receive an order confirmation into your email, which means that you should provide a valid email address when placing an order. The payment method used is also verified in the order confirmation.



Delivery methods


For smaller orders, the delivery method is Posti or Schenker. For larger products, delivery method is Schenker or another suitable carrier. The delivery method is determined according to the products ordered. Pick-up possibility from either Ylihärmä or Vantaa warehouse, depending on the product's storage location.



Delivery time


Our typical delivery time within the EU region is 3–28 days, depending on the order and delivery method. Further information regarding the delivery time is provided alongside the product information.  



Right of withdrawal and return policy


Under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract by notifying us of your withdrawal within 14 days of having received the goods or the final shipment of goods, or in the case of regular delivery of goods the first shipment of goods. The withdrawal notification must be made in an unambiguous manner, for example by emailing the provided withdrawal form to us or by using a written withdrawal notification that you include with the returned goods. The right of withdrawal only applies to off-the-shelf products in original condition and respectively any goods returned must be unused, packaged in their original packaging, and packed safely for the return delivery.  


If the transaction is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than within 14 days of giving notice of the withdrawal to our Return address mentioned below. The customer returning goods must, where necessary, be able to prove that the goods were returned within the specified time with a return receipt, for example. The customer returning goods must pay the cost of the return delivery.  


The customer will not be reimbursed for these costs. When you want to return a delivered order, please include your name and contact information with the return delivery, as well as your bank details for refund purposes. We will refund your payment for the order without delay under the Consumer Protection Act.  


If the customer is a company there is no right to withdraw. 



Inspecting the shipment, defect and problem situations


Please inspect the delivery as soon as you receive it. If a product has gone missing or been damage during transport or is otherwise nonconformant with your order or is defective, please notify our Customer Service as soon as possible and no later than within 14 days so that we can agree on how to rectify the issue. With regard to defects, we comply with the mandatory regulations of the Consumer Protection Act concerning the liability for defects in consumer transactions.

Restriction of liability


Farmtools Oy shall not assume responsibility for any indirect, direct, or any other damage related to or resulting from an order, delivery, or product except insofar as a mandatory regulation provided by the Consumer Protection Act or another mandatory law stipulates otherwise with regard to the damage in question.  





Any disputes arising from your order will primarily be resolved through mutual agreement, so we advise you to first and foremost contact our Customer Service so that may settle the issue. If a dispute arising from a purchase contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may bring the matter to be decided by the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).  
Before taking a matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must first contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice/).
